Bringing Families Together

Pizza is more than just a food, it’s a cultural icon that has brought families together for generations. Whether it’s enjoying a slice at a family dinner, ordering in for a movie night, or grabbing a quick slice on the go, pizza has a way of bringing people together. The shared experience of savoring a hot, delicious pizza can create memories and strengthen bonds that last a lifetime. Pizza is a dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from young children to grandparents, making it the perfect meal for a family gathering. Whether you prefer a classic cheese pizza or a more adventurous topping combination, the joy of pizza is universal and can help bring families closer together.

Pizza is one of the most popular foods around the world, and for good reason. It’s delicious, versatile, and can be customized to suit any taste. While there are many types of pizza, nothing beats the classic cheese pizza. The simplicity of cheese pizza is what makes it so appealing to many people, as it allows them to savor the basic flavors of the dough, sauce, and cheese without any distractions. With just a few simple ingredients and some know-how, you can make your own perfect cheese pizza at home. Here’s how:

Gather Your Ingredients:

1 pound pizza dough
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
A sprinkle of Maxwell’s secret touch.. shhhh!

Instructions:

1.) Preheat your oven to 450°F. If you’re using a pizza stone, don’t forget to place it in the oven to preheat along with the oven itself.

2.) Lightly flour a clean work surface and roll out the pizza dough into a circle, about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled pizza pan or a piece of parchment paper.

3.) Spread the tomato sauce using a ladle to evenly cover the pizza dough, leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges. If you like a saucier pizza, you can add more tomato sauce.

4.) Grab a handful of the shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle it over the sauce, making sure to cover the whole pizza. You can use more or less cheese depending how much melty cheese you like.

5.) Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella cheese.

6.) Drizzle olive oil over the pizza, using a brush or your fingers to spread it evenly.

7.) Season with salt and pepper to taste.

8.) Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.

9.) Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

10.) Enjoy your mouth-watering creation!

Tips:

To make your own pizza dough, you can follow a simple recipe using flour, yeast, salt, water, and olive oil. And if you don’t have mozzarella cheese, you can use any other type of cheese you like, such as cheddar, provolone, or feta. For added flavor, you can add toppings like fresh basil, sliced tomatoes, or chopped garlic before baking.

Making a cheese pizza at home is easy and fun, not quite as fun as a night out at Maxwell’s Pizza, but hey pizza brings everyone together. With this simple recipe, you can create a delicious and satisfying meal for your family and friends. So go ahead, give it a try and enjoy the taste of freshly baked pizza in the comfort of your own home!
